The UPS was further developed to an Autonomous Power Station (APS) to provide power from solar panels and backup diesel power plant in a very compact footprint.

 

These units are placed adjacent to the remote tower and provide the necessary power for the surveillance and communication equipment.

 

The APS is ideal where small to medium power is required and a connection to the power grid is prohibited by distance or cost.

 

The unit is configurable to suit a vast area of applications in terms of capacity or sustainability using solar power, wind energy and with a backup diesel generator.
